New Life Midwives are committed to educating expectant mothers and assisting women through natural, preventative, holistic, and nutritional means. We provide skilled, individualized, and loving care to birthing women. As home midwives, we are respectful of the physiological, emotional, spiritual, sexual, and cultural aspects of the birthing process. We recognize that birth is not inherently risky; it is a natural life process that is meant to function well.
We allow lots of time at prenatal appointments to build a personalized, warm, trusting relationship. During birthing and delivery, we will continuously and carefully monitor both the mother and baby without interfering with or disrupting the perfect process of birth. We encourage VBAC births and we are equipped to handle various situations, and make appropriate referrals or timely transfers when necessary. Our birth team consists of two midwives and two apprentices who all believe that birth at home is an empowering and joyous celebration!
